Amman, May 2, 2010 – Jordan Dubai Capital's (JD Capital) Board of Directors announced its decision to appoint Mr. Ismail Tahboub as the company's Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Tahboub has been guiding JD Capital's operations as Acting CEO since H.E. Mr. Samir Zaid Al-Rifa’i appointment by royal decree as the Prime Minister of Jordan on the 9th of December 2009.

Mr. Ismail Tahboub first joined JD Capital in 2006 as Chief Financial Officer and before later assuming the position as Senior Vice President and Head of Investments. Mr. Tahboub currently holds a number of strategic executive responsibilities, representing JD Capital on the boards of several of its subsidiaries including holding Chairmanship position on the boards of Jordan Dubai Properties (JD Properties), Kingdom Electricity Company (KEC), Energy Arabia (ENARA) and Central Electricity Generating Company (CEGCO). In addition, Mr. Tahboub is a Board Member of Energy Management Services (EMS), Madaen Al Shorouq and Jordan Dubai Islamic Bank (JDIB).

Mr. Tahboub holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Jordan, is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the Montana Board of Public Accountants, and is a member in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
